NOTE: FOR ANY NEW MEXICO HUNT... HWO is required to also charge you for 'the applicable New Mexico State Sales Taxes, based on the booked hunt price, per each individual Counties Set Tax Rate Percentage.'

HWO's  AZ (Pre-Season) 2 or 3 Day "Pre-Scout With You" Packages...

These Pre-Season "Scout With You" Packages have been a great success for the (hunter) (family / buddy hunter groups of 2 to 4) that really would prefer to conduct 'their hunt on their own'....BUT... also want to conduct their due diligence and go in hunting with an extensive insight (2 - 3 day emersion pre-scouting experience) as to some of the hunt units "Prime Trophy Hunting Areas, Maps & Water Locations." Thus allowing you and / or your hunting group to have a solid basis to start from, for continuing with your own 'Do It Yourself Hunt.'

“GUIDE ONLY” means HWO provides you with a professional guide, our years of experience and pre-season scouting and your guide. You provide your own camp / ACCOMMODATIONS (near a camp location we choose based upon where we will hunt) and YOUR OWN MEALS / BEVERAGES.

(includes 1 day of pre-scouting with your guide) means we would like you be in hunting camp, for the ONE DAY PRIOR TO YOUR HUNT START DATE, scouting with your guide.

We all understand that gratuities are strictly at the hunter’s discretion, however, our professional Guides and Cooks alike work very hard to ensure your hunt is successful as well as unforgettable and appreciate your gratuity. Tips average 10% to 15% of the booked hunt package price for guides and $100 to $150 for our cooks, per hunter - on a 5 day hunt. (PLEASE NOTE: Gratuities are not included in any of our HWO hunt package prices.)

Non-Hunters are welcome for a $100 per day fee. ($600.00 for a six-day hunt, $500.00 for a five-day hunt. Etc)

Landowner Tags, where available ( in New Mexico), are priced at current Market Value. HWO REQUIRES A PRE-PURCHASE DEPOSIT to purchase and guarantee your L/O tag and hunt reservation!

PRE-PURCHASE DEPOSIT REQUIRED (Land Owner N. Mex. $3,000 Elk, Land Owner Antelope $1,500) If you draw for that same species / hunt HWO will automatically apply your PRE-PURCHASED DEPOSIT FEE to your hunt package price. HWO will then assist in selling your Land Owner Tag that you have pre-purchased. (PLEASE CALL FOR MORE DETAILS if interested.)

Howell Wildlife Outfitters REQUIRES A 50% Non-Refundable Deposit to hold your Hunt / Hunt Dates. Your remaining Hunt Balance is then due 30 days prior to your hunt start date. (Except KANSAS and MEXICO where your Hunt Balance is due 60 days prior to your hunt start date.) Upon receipt of your hunt booking deposit HWO will mail you your COMPLETE HUNT PACKET OF HUNT INFORMATION.

PLEASE NOTE: that because our HWO Hunts are NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-TRANSFERABLE HWO NOW OFFERS OUR CLIENTS THE OPTION TO PURCHASE “TRAVEL GUARD HUNT / TRAVEL INSURANCE PACKAGES”. Which are available at our Howell Wildlife Outfitters Web Site. And / or you may purchase your own travel / hunt insurance if you desire.
